Project: Red Skull

Red Skull: Archenemy of Captain America and one of the baddest baddies of all time!

This costume is from the Golden Age Captain America series from 1941. Red Skull's first appearance had him wearing a similar costume in brown (which I may make at a later time), but in later issues he donned this green version.

Costume made from scratch (Golden Age green version)

SS Field Uniform made from various 12" scale Nazi uniforms by 21st Century (altered and dyed)

This is the same figure with an SS Field Uniform. The cigarette holder is removable and is made from a 12" scale machine gun barrel. The uniform is comprised of various 12" scale Nazi uniforms from 21st Century, which I dyed a dark brown and altered to fit this 8" Mego figure. He also sports a 12" scale Luger pistol.

I just love the way this figure turned out. This is another in my Heroes and Villains of Two World Wars series. Coming soon, Golden Age Captain America...
